Ranked No. 22 in the Official World Golf Ranking, defending champion Max Homa is among the betting favourites at the PGA Tour season opener in Napa, California.
It was a video golf fans had been waiting for, but weren’t sure when, if ever, they might see: Tiger Woods, hitting a golf ball with seemingly no pain or hesitancy. And the reaction was, not surprisingly, one of elation.
With a second consecutive seven-under 65, Homa won his third PGA Tour title and his second in his past 18 starts, both coming in his native California.
The putt didn’t have much in it, at least we thought. Turns out, it had a hair of right to left movement. Homa found this out in the most painful way imaginable:
