Although you wouldn’t have known it after Hideki Matsuyama jumped out to an eight-shot lead at the Hero World Challenge Sunday, it was Matsuyama’s 60-degree Cleveland RTX 2.0 wedge that bailed him out. Using the same club that he pulled to hole out for eagle on the seventh hole Saturday, Matsuyama needed the same club again on the 72nd hole as he executed a nifty pitch shot from behind the green to within inches of the hole to seal the win over Henrik Stenson.
