Hoffman has had a penchant for making noise at Augusta on Thursdays and Fridays the past couple of years. Now he’ll have a moment to remember on Sunday at one of golf’s most famous one-shotters.
It was barnstorming Patrick Reed’s day at Augusta National, but Australia’s Marc Leishman had his moments as well and the big man from Warrnambool is in contention again for his first Major championship.
It tied for the highest score in Masters history, and the highest score on the 15th, “beating” the 11s of Masashi (Jumbo) Ozaki, Ben Crenshaw and Ignacio Garrido.
