Tiger Woods knew he wouldn’t win a fifth green jacket when he teed off for Sunday’s final round at the Masters. However, he nearly left Augusta National with a nice parting gift: a large crystal bowl.

The prize for making a Masters hole-in-one almost wound up in Woods’ possession – and it would have been especially rare considering where his close call came. The par-3 fourth hole has only yielded one ace (Jeff Sluman, 1992) in tournament history, but Woods just missed adding his name to that list. Check out this laser 4-iron from 232 yards that takes two hops and then rolls right through the hole:

Seriously, how did that not drop?! OK, so we know how. It had a wee bit of steam on it, but c’mon, golf gods, throw this guy a good break! Anyway, great shot, Tiger, but it’s just not your week.
