Smotherman fires to Utah lead as Aussie Davis falters

Austin Smotherman finished with a three-birdie burst to card a 9-under 62 and take a one-stroke lead at the halfway point of the Bank of Utah Championship, while Australia’s Cam Davis faces an anxious wait to make the weekend.
