Exotics C723/E723

Why we like it
Replacing heavier titanium with lighter carbon composite is a great way to make a more stable and forgiving head. Lighter weight in some areas means heavier weight in the perimeter to provide more resistance to power-sapping twisting on off-centre hits. These heads also incorporate a thin strip of rigid titanium down the centre of the crown to further stabilise the head and provide support for a more flexible face. About that face: its backside features rows of dozens of variably sized, diamond-shaped indentations designed to perform like mini-trampolines for more ball speed and higher launch.

C723

  • Compact shape appeals to better players seeking lower spin.
  • Carbon-composite sections make room for moveable rear and front sole weights.
  • The centre of gravity is more forward than in the E723.
  • 8, 9, 10.5 (with an eight-way adjustable hosel).

E723

  • This model is the largest of the two and emphasises forgiveness.
  • A rear weight can be positioned in draw, fade or neutral positions.
  • Three 40-gram shaft options provide higher launch  possibilities for slower swingers.
  • 9, 10.5, 12 degrees (with an eight-way adjustable hosel).

Reviewer profile

“Powerful sound-feel combination with no lingering vibration. I’m still in play even if I miss the sweet spot.”
