Jimmy Walker putted well at Baltusrol with his Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS putter that is some 12 years old.

A little more than a year ago Walker sent the putter to the Scotty Cameron Custom Shop to be refurbished. Walker had good memories with the club as he won twice and topped the Nationwide Tour money list with it in 2004. In addition to a little sprucing up, Walker also had tungsten added to the sole to get the feel Walker desired.

Walker used the putter in winning the Hyundai Tournament of Champions and the Valero Texas Open in 2015 and it was in the bag for his Major victory at the PGA Championship.

Walker also used Titleist’s prototype 917D2 driver, with the adjustable hosel set in the B2 postion which is in the slightly upright position.
