With the end of the year rapidly approaching, we can’t help but reflect on our favourite moments and trends over the last 12 months.

We saw vibrant neons, blues and browns, with hints of cherry red emerge in the golf fashion world this year. From Barbie-core pink to the ever-classic multi-shades of green, as more fashion-forward brands have gained traction in golf, so has the (creative) use of colour.

Colours have made themselves a vital part of golf apparel – often setting the tone (or shade) for any player – but as we look ahead to the next set of trends, it begs the question, what will be the colour of the new year?

Well according to Pantone, the infamous colour matching system, the colour of 2024 is peach fuzz. Here are some fun ways peach fuzz has already infiltrated golf.

Described as a velvety, gentle colour nestled between pink and orange that is meant to bring on feelings of kindness and tenderness, communicating a message of caring and sharing, community and collaboration (which feels eerily on point given the ongoing PGA Tour/LIV Golf debacle).

Pantone has released a colour of the year, every year, since 1999, but it hasn’t taken off until recent years. It has become pertinent in the worlds of interior design, fashion design, product design, printing, and so much more. But for us, we can already see our favourite brands finding ways to incorporate peach fuzz into apparel pieces – especially as spring/summer collections begin to drop after the new year. And with the Masters being the official kickoff to the golf season, the ice cream sandwiches won’t be the only things we’ll be peachy about.

Speaking of the Masters and peach fuzz, we’ve already seen this combination with the special edition Nike Air Zoom Victory Tour Golf Shoe that dropped in April of this year. The soft green and yellow-orange details blended with the burlap-sack-like textured material mimic the appearance of fuzz — making for a deliciously stylish one-of-a-kind shoe.

Peter Millar Men's Perth Mélange Performance Quarter-Zip Peter Millar Men’s Perth Mélange Performance Quarter-Zip
Stay warm this winter in this spring-time-themed quarter zip. It has a slightly heathered look on the orange shade, which will soften the brightness and make it easier to pair with. We’d love to see this over a pair of well-tailored navy golf pants and some classic white leather golf shoes.

Macade Peach Tech Mock Neck Macade Peach Tech Mock Neck
Another heathered orange option we love, this adidas polo is made with recycled materials and designed as a regular fit polo that’s easy to layer over or under to accommodate for any weather conditions the season may bring.  Callaway Men's Georgia Peach Hat Callaway Men’s Georgia Peach Hat
If you’re not ready to go full orange, hats and other accessories are a great place to start. We love this Callaway cap because it’s an approachable take on the peachy trend. Throw it on to brighten up any wintertime fit and energize your round.

FootJoy Painted Floral Lisle Polo FootJoy Painted Floral Lisle Polo
Will away the cold in this spring-like micro-printed floral and soft orange polo from FootJoy. When it comes to trying out something new, sometimes it’s best to do so with a more traditional brand that does the classics well, so no matter how experimental a style is…it is never “too much”. Eastside Golf Men's Follow Through Polo Shirt Eastside Golf Men’s Follow Through Polo Shirt

Pushing the envelope in golf apparel, Eastside Golf has merged streetwear with on-course wear, while also introducing refreshing colour palettes along the way. We love this soft shade of orange because it can almost resemble khaki – and will match with almost anything you wear your classic khakis with.

Macade Golf Peach Stretch Wind Gilet Macade Golf Peach Stretch Wind Gilet

Toeing the line of more coral than peach (the pink-to-orange balance is crucial), this mock neck sweater has a more familiar feel to it. Macade has experimented with peach and its opposite colour light blue quite a bit, and we’d like to see that dichotomy more in the new year.

Peach fuzz isn’t just limited to apparel – get creative (and on-trend) with your on-course accessories, too. Take a tip from the colour wheel, and add accenting pops of colour to transform your golf bag into…well, whatever you’d like it to be! Golf bag themes exist, so do one that’s a bit untraditional.

Reminiscent of the orange Creamsicles from our childhood, these adidas golf shoes may not be the sweet treat from your memories, but they are still a sweet deal currently on sale on Amazon.

Royal & Awesome Pastel Orange Golf Pants Royal & Awesome Pastel Orange Golf Pants
This is certainly a bold take on the orange trend, but let’s be bold going into the new year. It may take a little extra neutral-toned focus on the styling, but if done right, these slacks will shine.

Pastel shorts aren’t the easiest to pull off, especially as golf moves into a more fashion-forward space, but we’ve got a few tips. It’s okay and trendy to mix your pastels — like lilac and pea green with peachy orange. Or lean into the colour-block look and pair your pastels with brighter, bolder colours. XEXYMIX Golf Pleated Polo Short Sleeve XEXYMIX Golf Pleated Polo Short Sleeve
If you’re still not quite sold on the peach fuzz trend, perhaps these pleated sleeves are bold enough to sway you. These daring sleeves are some of the most unique we’ve seen for women’s golf apparel, but that’s the appeal. Pair this top with more pleats to really commit to the look, and you’ll be best dressed for sure. Johnston & Murphy Vintage Slub Polo Johnston & Murphy Vintage Slub Polo
This garment-washed (which gives it that weathered, vintage aesthetic) is another great option for the golfer looking for something a bit more approachable when it comes to this shade of orange. It’s fairly casual so it would look just as great with a pair of jeans as it would with khakis, and the contrasted top-stitching gives the polo a bit of a refined finish.  Ripit Squiggle Grips Ripit Squiggle Grips

We didn’t know we needed abstract art on coloured grips until now. The contrasted light-orange and green tones of these grips are so creative and unlike anything we’ve seen. Imagine breaking out your peach-coloured golf bag with the matching grips – you’d be the talk of your club!
