What you need to know: Motocaddy has expanded its 2026 Australian buggy line-up with the arrival of two new models: the M5 GPS DHC and M1 DHC. The new buggies combine Motocaddy’s technology and compact designs with Downhill Control (DHC), giving Aussie golfers more choice across the range.

The M5 GPS DHC is the flagship of the new handle-control models, pairing full-hole GPS mapping with DHC technology, while the M1 DHC brings downhill control to Motocaddy’s compact M1 platform.
The new models join the existing S1 DHC and QB2 push buggy, while Motocaddy’s recently launched REMOTE range includes the M7 GPS REMOTE, M7 REMOTE and ME REMOTE.
Price/Availability: The M5 GPS DHC is available now with an RRP of $1,599.99, while the M1 DHC is priced at A$1,399.99. The S1 DHC is priced at $1,199.99, while the QB2 push buggy has an RRP of $299.99. The new models are available through Motocaddy Australia, which was established in 2025 to provide Australian golfers with direct access to the brand’s products, backed by a dedicated local team and authorised service centres.

1. A GPS that does a lot more than give you yardages
The M5 GPS DHC features a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen with full-hole GPS mapping and more than 40,000 courses pre-loaded.
Along with front, middle and back distances, golfers get hazard information, Dynamic Green View and drag-and-drop pin positioning. There’s also 2D and 3D mapping, 3D hole flyovers, panning and zooming, plus integrated score and statistics tracking. Bluetooth smartphone notifications and Wi-Fi updates are also included.
2. Downhill Control takes the stress out of slopes
The DHC system automatically regulates the buggy’s speed when travelling downhill, applying braking when required.
The M5 GPS DHC also features an electronic parking brake that holds the buggy securely on uphill and downhill lies.
On the M1 DHC, the same technology is paired with a much more compact package, making it an option for golfers who want additional control without stepping up to a larger buggy.
3. The M1 is seriously compact
The new M1 DHC retains the compact design that has made the M1 a popular option, with a straightforward folding mechanism, inverting wheels and an auto-fold front wheel designed to help it fit into smaller car boots.
It also gets a new enlarged 2.8-inch LCD widescreen display, nine speed settings, battery level, clock and round timer. Adjustable Distance Control allows the buggy to travel independently for up to 45 yards, while golfers can also track walking distance, shot distance and lifetime distance travelled.
The M1 DHC uses Motocaddy’s CLICK ‘N’ CONNECT cable-free ULTRA Lithium battery system and includes a USB charging port, adjustable handle height, EASILOCK bag-to-buggy connection and CartLock security PIN technology.
For golfers looking for more technology, the M5 GPS DHC adds the GPS package. For those prioritising compactness and simplicity, the M1 DHC offers a more streamlined alternative.
