Golf fans are well aware of Min Woo Lee’s showmanship perhaps even surpassing his golf talent. From choreographed chip-in celebrations to novel Masters invite reveals, the guy has emerged as one of the sport’s most electric performers in the past few years. And now the Chef has finally cooked up a first PGA Tour win.
But leave it to Lee to finish it off in a unique way. You may have turned away after Lee’s fantastic lag putt on the 72nd hole left him a mere six inches away from a one-shot victory over Scottie Scheffler and Gary Woodland at the Texas Children’s Houston Open. And he found a way to make even a tap-in entertaining.
Remember a few weeks ago when the LPGA’s A. Lim Kim went viral on Golf Twitter (in a bad way) for going through her AimPoint routine on a tap-in? Well, Min Woo obviously did. And before finishing off his win, he jokingly imitated that moment, straddling his golf ball before backing up and enjoying people’s reactions. Have a look:

What a move to pull in the biggest moment (so far) of your career. And, again, what an absolute showman.
But no one had a more notable reaction than Scheffler, who was watching from the scorer’s area. Even the world No.1 couldn’t help but chuckle at Lee’s move despite coming up agonisingly short of his first win of 2025.
