Ever since the PGA Championship, the world can’t get enough of Michael Block. The man has become golf’s version of Forrest Gump ever since his T-15 finish at Oak Hill. He popped up at a DJ Khaled event, won tournaments left and right and even received offers of employment from some … unsavory places.

Blockie has decided to use his newfound celebrity for a righteous cause as he will be hiking 100 holes at Pebble Beach for Youth on Course. On November 13, the legend will play 100 holes of golf on foot in order to raise money that will go towards subsidizing rounds for kids who can’t afford them. Sounds like an unforgettable day.

“It’s been an amazing year full of unforgettable moments both on and off the course,” Block said on his Instagram. “One thing is for sure – none of it would have been possible without golf.

“That’s why I’m teaming up with @yocgolf and @taylormadegolf for the 100 Hole Hike to give back to the game. Youth on Course provides AFFORDABLE ACCESS to young golfers by subsidizing rounds so kids nationwide can play a network of 2,000 courses for $5 or less.”

The 47-year-old better have his best pair of shoes ready for the event. 100 holes is quite the trek for anyone, let alone a golf journeyman. There hasn’t been any news yet of any television coverage, but we’re hoping for some type of footage. That’s what the people deserve, especially as we slowly venture into the golfless months up north. Let’s see an ace, for the kids.

Youth on Course has become a big name in golf since it started back in 2006 in California. They’ve awarded over $2 million in scholarships, raised over $1.6 million through these charitable hikes and have helped kids nationwide find their footing in a sport that they wouldn’t have been able to otherwise.

If you’d like to donate to the Michael Block 100 Holes Super Hike, you can do so here. If you want to try your own Super Hike (best of luck), that’s something you can look into here.
