One thing about Aussies – we’re a pretty self-deprecating bunch. We give as good as we get, or in the case of the video below, get as good as we give.

It’s a generalisation that often extends to Uber-rich Aussies too, like the cashed-up golfers at Punch GC – LIV Golf’s all-Australian lineup of Cameron Smith, Marc Leishman, Matt Jones and Wade Ormsby.

While dining with LIV Golf’s Godfather and fellow Aussie Greg Norman recently, the team took the opportunity to address a few Twitter critics.

Liquored up on Leishman Lager and presumably still on a high from the mega contracts they signed to join the rival circuit, the boys from Down Under did their best to answer all the tough questions.

Is Cam Smith’s moustache a joke? What is it with Australian’s obsession with thongs and Vegemite? Why are Aussies bad losers (wait, what?!)? And, perhaps the harshest jab of the lot, is Greg Norman the biggest ‘FIGJAM’ in the world? If you aren’t familiar with that last acronym, don’t worry, Smith had to explain it to Norman.

Watch it all unfold here:

Fair play, lads. And fair play to the Godfather, who happily concurred with his critic’s view that he is indeed a big fan of his own work.

In all seriousness, the Aussie quartet seems pretty content with life after the PGA Tour. Who knows, another team ‘Shooey’ could well be on the cards next week when the LIV Golf Invitational Bangkok tees off from October 7-9 at Stonehill Golf Course. C’mon, Aussie!
