Not everything that happens in Vegassstays in Vegas. Afterall, the winner this week at the Shriners Children’s Open will be taking home $1.26 million from the $7 million overall purse at TPC Summerlin for the fourth of eight fall events.

The top headline of the week, of course, is Tom Kim, who is looking to win here for the third consecutive year. He’s looking to become the first player to win three straight PGA Tour events since Steve Stricker won the John Deere Classic from 2009-11. Last week’s winner, lefty Matt McCarty, is right back in action after capturing the inaugural Black Desert Championship by three shots. He has now won four events in his last 10 starts, including three times on the Korn Ferry Tour to go with the PGA Tour win in Utah.

Nine players who finished inside the top 50 of the FedEx Cup standings are in Vegas—Taylor Pendrith (T-14), Tom Hoge (T-29), Davis Thompson (34), Cam Davis (36), J.T. Poston (41), Stephan Jaeger (43), Austin Eckroat (45), Adam Hadwin (47) and Eric Cole (50). They’ve all locked up status for 2025.

A reminder, full status is on the line during this stretch of the fall season along with entry into two early signature events in 2025—the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the Genesis Invitational. As part of the Aon Next 10, those ranked Nos. 51-60 will play in those two events. Those from 61-125 will retain full status for next year and Nos. 126-150 will have conditional status. All those players can improve status by playing in PGA Tour Q-School.

Here’s the prize money breakdown for each player who makes the cut this week at the Shriners Children’s Open. Check back here Sunday shortly after play is complete for updates.
