LIV Golf is back in action this week in Mexico City, it’s sixth event of the season and first since the Masters. This is the league’s first visit to Mexico City and the third visit to Mexico after playing in Mayakoba in each of the last two years.

The purse this week at the Club de Golf Chapultapec is the customary $20 million with the winner taking home $4 million for a victory. The course hosted World Golf Championship events from 2017-2020, each winner in those four years—Dustin Johnson (’17, ’19), Phil Mickelson (’18) and Patrick Reed (’20) all play on the LIV Golf circuit. The course sits at 7,800 feet of elevation above sea level, making it the highest elevated city to host a LIV event.

Mexico’s Carlos Ortiz and Abraham Ancer will be among the crowd favorites in their home country and both are ranked inside the top 15 on the LIV Golf individual points race. Joaquin Niemann continues to lead the season-long points list and Sergio Garcia’s Fireballs squad is leading the team standings.

Here is the rundown of what each player will earn. Check back here Sunday after play is complete for updates.
