Ruoning Yin picked up her second title this month and second on the LPGA’s Asian swing, winning the Maybank Championship Sunday at Kuala Lumpur by a shot. She won the Buick LPGA Shangai just two weeks ago in China. At just 22, she now has five LPGA titles.
Yin, for her efforts, took home the $450,000 winner’s check from the overall $3 million purse. Jeeno Thitikul was a shot behind Yin and Haeran Ryu was third.

This week marked the third of four events in Asia for the LPGA. Only the Toto Japan Classic remains next week in Shiga. After that the tour returns to the States for the final three events—the Lotte Championship in Haway, then the Annika and CME Group Tour Championship, both in Florida.
