The PGA Tour remains in the Florida for the second week of a four-week stretch, after last week’s Cognizant Classic spilled over to Monday. But this time, the top players in the world are gathered at Bay Hill Club and Lodge for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the fourth signature event of the year with a $20 million purse. The winner will take home $4 million and don Palmer’s iconic red cardigan Sunday on Bay Hill’s 18th green.

A usual cast of characters are on hand, minus Tony Finau, who opted not to play this week. That means 69 players are in the field, an rookie Nick Dunlap will play the first two rounds by himself, an oddity described here by our Dave Shedloski.

Nine of the top 10 players in the world are participating, including top dogs Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy. Jon Rahm is the only player among the top 10 not playing as he’s at LIV Golf’s event in Hong Kong.

Austin Eckroat, the Cognizant champion on Monday, is in the field for the first time at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Defending champion Kurt Kitayama is here too, but did not fare well in Round 1 and is only beating one player.

The event is part of the Open Qualifying Series, meaning that the top three players on the final leaderboard not already qualified for the Open Championship will earn a spot. Next week is the Players Championship up at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Here is the prize money breakdown for all players this week, as there is no cut. Check back here shortly after the completion of play Sunday for updates.
