Following his recent visit to Australia to open The Eastern Golf Club, Greg Norman took to Instagram again to announce he’d undergone successful surgery. But this time, it wasn’t the result of a chainsaw.

Nope, this was just a shoulder surgery, Norman’s 13th overall operation.

The 60-year-old is the lead analyst for Fox’s coverage of the US Open, having made his debut at Chambers Bay earlier this year. Judging by his recovery timetable, he should be able to get plenty of his own golf in before heading to Oakmont next year – provided he stays away from trees and power tools.

The Shark estimates he won’t be playing golf for four to six months, but hopefully his recovery is helped by the fact his surgeon was Dr James Bradley, Head Team Orthopedic Surgeon for NFL franchise the Pittsburgh Steelers.
