Greg Norman Golf Course Design (GNGCD) and Dean Lukin Jnr today announced the signing of a formal masterplan agreement for the soon-to-be revived Port Lincoln residential golf course development in South Australia.

Norman and Lukin have a long history, with the initial concept for the project dating back to 2012. Due to timing and economics, the plans did not move forward, however the relationship always remained intact. After recent discussions, both parties agreed that current circumstances allowed for the perfect timing to relaunch the project with a new masterplan. Plans for the new development include a Greg Norman Signature Golf Course as the centrepiece, surrounded by a high-end residential development.

“It is an honour to assist Dean in carrying on the Lukin legacy in Australia with the development of his project in Port Lincoln,” Norman said. “It has been a long road, but we are so glad to finally be here and move forward with the formal masterplan agreement. There is a lot to look forward to and I am delighted to continue my long relationship with Dean and bring something special to South Australia.”

“This will be a tremendous boost for Port Lincoln and the lower Eyre Peninsula area generally – it helps to create a vibrancy and excitement that is important in regional areas,” Lukin said. “I am very excited to have Greg Norman involved in this project as I am hugely passionate about this beautiful region. There is nobody better than Greg in achieving an aesthetic, well-planned and creative golf course development and I am supremely confident everybody will be pleased with the outcome.”
