We’ve seen some pretty unforgettable golfer’s tans over the years. From Stewart Cink’s iconic hat tan to Si Woo Kim’s invisible tee shirt, unfortunate tan lines have become a pro-golf calling card, right up there with botched high-fives and swamp ass. Just ask Caleb Surratt.

On Tuesday at the PIF Saudi International, the Legion XIII pro etched his two-tone torso into history when he shed his shoes and shirt for a risky water escape. Though the shot was workmanlike, finding the greenside rough, the highlight was Surratt’s elite golfer’s tan, which delivered laughs aplenty in the broadcast booth. Check it out.

Needless to say, the sun is still blazing in Riyadh this time of year, and when the sun’s out, the guns surely follow. But don’t sleep on Surratt’s sock tan either, which is perhaps just as hilarious as his phantom shirt.

Thankfully, Surratt didn’t become the butt of an old golf joke for nothing. After putting his shoes and shirt back on, the LIV youngster played a deft little chip to two feet and tapped in for his par save. So all’s well that ends well, but next time Caleb decides to take his shirt off on the course, might we suggest some bronzer?
