Fans at Royal Birkdale must have been surprised to see Jason Day dressed in black pants and a white polo during Monday’s British Open practice round. For the fashion-forward Aussie, it was a pretty plain look. But by Tuesday, that had changed. Drastically.
It’s become a tradition unlike any other at majors to see what Day will wear, especially in the days leading up to the tournament. Or, rather, what Malbon will script for the 13-time PGA Tour winner.

We’ve seen some wild outfits before, including that infamous “busy” sweater vest that Augusta National asked Day to remove a couple of years ago. But this full camo getup has to rank right up there:

That is FULL CAMO, indeed. With a white belt for good measure!
Day also wore some camo at Shinnecock last month for the US Open. So, apparently, camo is so hot right now.
Day is 150-to-1 to win the Open Championship this week. However, as Golf Twitter is well aware by this point, he was a lock to wear something that would have people talking.
