Travel is a nightmare. First, you have to pack (which as we all know is hell), then you have to survive traffic on the way to the airport, then you have to lug your suitcase to the gate and find a seat in the godforsaken terminal with your terrible little overpriced sandwich. Once you’re finally on the plane, your back will lock up and there will be a crying baby sitting right behind you. Always.

Anyway, most of us travel only a few times a year at most, so it’s not too bad. But, at this point, it’s essentially a PGA Tour pro’s side hustle.

Michael Kim, always the Golf Twitter stalwart, took us through his year in travel, which featured nearly 110,000 kilometres and eight countries. To be honest, we’re getting stressed just watching this little clip.

“My 2025 golf tournament travel,” Kim writes. “68k+ miles (not including layovers and separate sponsor outings) 33 tournaments 8 countries 16 states 250+ days on the road.” He even added that there were between 10 and 15 flight-delay airport Q&A sessions during the calendar year.

Now, Kim’s probably flying better than most of us – we doubt he’s flying Jetstar – but the man has turned it into a science of sorts, even supplying a few life hacks from what he’s learned over the years: “Eye mask and comfortable headphones are a must. I like taking the earliest flight out, [fewer] delays, and I can sleep on the plane easier.”

And yes, Kim already has the next few months lined up. He admitted that he’s set to play “just about everything except Cognizant I think.”

“I grew up on west coast so I like all the west coast tournaments,” Kim added. “And I like playing a big schedule as I play better on my 2nd 3rd 4th tournament in a row.”

It’s tough to comprehend how many kilometres the average PGA Tour player is logging over the course of a year. One week you’re in Illinois, followed by Scotland, England and Minnesota.

One commenter went so far as to ask Kim if he has his own plane to make these treks, to which he responded, “Will you give me a loan?”
