Known for his trick-shot antics and triple Web.com Tour wins in 2016, the US PGA Tour’s latest winner Wesley Bryan has shown some serious game at the top echelon.

On his way to a one-stroke victory at the RBC Heritage, the 27-year-old Callaway staffer was armed with:

Driver: GBB Epic (8.5 degrees) – True Temper HZRDUS Black 6.5 Shaft
Fairway wood: GBB Epic (13.5 degrees) – True Temper HZRDUS Red 6.0 Shaft
Hybrid: Apex (18 degrees) – GD DI 95x Shaft
Irons: Apex Pro 16 (4-iron to PW) – True Temper DG X100 Shafts
Wedges: MD3 Milled (50, 54 degrees) – True Temper DG X100 Shafts; Mack Daddy Forged (58 degrees) – True Temper DG X100 Shaft
Putter: Odyssey Metal-X Milled #2
Ball: Chrome Soft X

Bryan immediately converted to the GBB Epic Driver at January’s Sony Open, his first start of 2017. And for this past week, he adjusted the loft on his driver from 9 degrees to 8.5. The flatter lie angle and “less draw” centre of gavity location was a good fit for him and helped eliminate misses to the left.

When Bryan first put in the Epic driver in January, he told Callaway’s tour reps that it gave him a much tighter dispersion with an increase in ball speed. Tour reps have said that many players who have put in this driver have commented that they have been impressed by the ball speeds and felt that the tight spin dispersion helped with their consistency.
