It was a busy day for Tiger Woods. He posted a message on his website, citing progress in his recovery, albeit without hinting of a timetable for return. Meeting with the press later that afternoon, the 14-time Major winner admitted that playing through injury has taken years off his career.

Both messages were slightly dour, making Woods’ finish to his day all the more compelling.

At his new Bluejack National design outside of Houston, Woods was on hand to open “The Playgrounds,” a 10-hole par-3 layout for kids. A handful of juniors received the chance to play the course under Woods’ watch.
