Tiger Woods has been seen walking without the assistance of crutches and walking aids in Los Angeles, California, according to celebrity tabloid news network TMZ.

The 15-time major winner was spotted arriving at a hotel in Los Angeles on Sunday.

In the footage, Woods’ surgically repaired leg, the result of a single-car car crash in February, appears not to have recovered to 100 percent.

Woods walked gingerly as he exited a car and upstairs into the LA hotel with his leg encased in a compression sleeve.

The original footage came from TMZ’s website which can be viewed here.

Woods was involved in a single-car rollover crash on February 23, also in LA, and after being pulled from the vehicle he was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

“Mr Woods suffered significant orthopaedic injuries to his right lower extremity that were treated during emergency surgery by Orthopaedic trauma specialists at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center,” said Dr. Anish Mahajan, Chief Medical Officer and Interim CEO at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in a statement at the time.

“Comminuted open fractures affecting both the upper and lower portion of the tibia and fibula bones were stabilized by inserting a rod into the tibia. Additional injuries to the bones of the foot and ankle were stabilized with a combination of screws and pins. Trauma to the muscle and soft-tissue of the leg required surgical release of the covering of the muscles to relieve pressure due to swelling.”
