Andrew Johnston, the golfer better known as “Beef,” has kept quiet since the US PGA Championship. Prior to that, he had an incredible month of July where he became a cult-like figure at tour events.
He furthered his persona by signing an endorsement deal with Arby’s, and shutting down PETA when they asked him to change his nickname to Tofu.
We got the chance to chat with Beef at a pub in London, holding a few Facebook Live sessions where he fielded questions from Facebook users. Sporting a Wu-Tang Clan shirt and Pittsburgh Pirates flat-brim cap, he answered questions about himself, played some games and gave some golf swing tips … swinging a club in front of the bar.
The legend of Beef continues, as he even chugged a beer and signed the pint glass at the pub.
