Like the biblical Samson, Cam Smith’s power is in his hair. Cutting it off right before the Masters is a real no-no for the LIV Golfer looking for his second major victory.
The less-than-casual angle to it is that this visit probably provides a good indication that Woods is feeling healthy enough to compete in the 88th Masters when it begins on April 11.
Scott’s withdrawal is not a surprise. The Queenslander has previously stated his apathy towards golf’s inclusion in the Olympics, referring to it as an “exhibition” and that a better idea would be to allow amateurs in the field. He passed on both the 2016 and 2020 games.
Johnson, who went a more conservative, American route in 2021, has nothing but love for Rahm’s choices, even if he barely understands what any of them are.
From humble beginnings, here’s what made LIV Golf Adelaide in 2023 such a memorable experience. Now it shapes as being an even greater spectacle this April.
For those complaining that golf in the Olympics looks exactly like golf almost every other week of the year, you’ll be happy about a new report. You’ll just probably have to wait another four years to see something different.
Winning the Masters is a life-changing event, and Rahm has already discovered that. Throw in the decision that changed the arc of his pro career, opting to join LIV, and this Masters will be unlike any other for a defending champion.

Australia’s two Cams led the way on the PGA Tour and LIV Golf in a mixed bag for the Down Under gang. Cam Davis led the way during a disappointing campaign for the Australians at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill while Cam Smith lost in a playoff at LIV Golf Hong Kong.
