Titleist continues to be the most played driver on the PGA Tour and the new GTS drivers look set to keep that streak going. The brand’s dominance was on full display at the Players Championship, where Cameron Young smashed a historic drive down the 18th fairway at TPC Sawgrass with his Titleist GT driver. Young, the runner-up, was joined by five of the top-seven finishers, all wielding a Titleist driver.

This week, players at the Texas Children’s Houston Open are getting their first look at the next generation of Titleist drivers. The range includes three models: GTS2, GTS3 and GTS4 and is also being introduced to competitors at the LPGA Ford Championship and the Korn Ferry Tour’s Club Car Championship.

Collaboration with the world’s best players is central to Titleist’s research and development. Tour pros help test and validate innovations, making sure each new driver outperforms the last.
“I’m pumped,” said Titleist Brand Ambassador Michael Brennan after a prototype testing session late last year. “I was disappointed I couldn’t play it, put it right in the bag. I love my GT, but I’m looking forward to the ‘S’ coming out here soon.”

New Titleist GTS2 driver
Thursday marks the first opportunity for tour players to game the new GTS drivers in competition.
Titleist’s tour dominance is clear. In 2025, the brand was the most played driver for the seventh consecutive season, making up 40 percent of all drivers on the PGA Tour according to Darrell Survey.
