Picking winners in golf these days is tough. Well, actually, we here at Australian Golf Digest tend to do it pretty frequently with our chosen cover subjects (look for Rory to shoot the lights out this week for an incredible comeback win at the Tour Championship!). But excuse us while we quickly pat ourselves on the backs. In general, it’s tough. Very tough.

Which is what made what one mystery punter pulled off over the weekend even more impressive.

If this betting slip is real – and we’re not sure what would motivate anyone to make up such a thing – then this person successfully picked the winners of the PGA Tour’s BMW Championship, the European Tour’s ISPS Handa UK Championship, and the Korn Ferry Tour Championship.

Even better? The mystery gambler genius PARLAYED all three into a gigantic payout. Have a look:

Brandon Wu at the Korn Ferry Tour? Tick. Rasmus Hojgaard in the UK? Tick. And finally, Jon Rahm at Olympia Fields? Tick, thanks to an incredible finish. (We’re guessing this person wasn’t too thrilled when Dustin Johnson drained that 40-footer to get into a playoff!)

Put it all together and a bet of £6, or a little under $10, netted someone nearly 30 GRAND. Not bad for a day’s work. Even if it was a long day of watching golf.

In case you’re not great at maths, even with playing three of the favourites to win those respective events, the multi paid about 3,047-to-1 odds. It’s not quite the 8,500-to-1 odds a different mystery gambler got on a different multi involving Rahm last year, but still, pretty darn impressive.
