Sergio Garcia’s triumphant Monday at the Andalucia Valderrama Masters’ marked his second win since he joined Callaway at the beginning of the year, when he also won his first official start for the company in Singapore.

Garcia had a strong week off the tee, hitting 75 percent of fairways for the event. Of his driver, he’s said: “I love the ball flight. I can hit it both ways, left to right, or right to left.” He’s also been playing with Rogue fairway woods throughout the year.

The 2017 Masters champion also had a great week on the greens with his Odyssey Toulon Atlanta putter. This is the same putter model he used to win this event last year (when he was still an equipment free agent) and he has now won three events over the past year with an Odyssey Toulon putter – the same flatstick he used in his strong performance at the 2018 Ryder Cup.

Garcia again used a Chrome Soft X, the same ball he’s used in every event this year, adding it’s performance around the greens is what’s helping him get the job done.

“My golf ball feels really nice. It’s definitely much better around the greens for me. It was important for me to make sure I liked the golf ball (when I came to Callaway)… It’s very important to see and feel that you can work the ball, and flight the ball. And that’s obviously one of the reasons why I decided to come to Callaway.”
