Tiger Woods says he’s rested and healthy, but the 15-time Major champion isn’t committing to using a Presidents Cup captain’s pick on himself. At least not yet.
Champ, the longest hitter in professional golf, will compete in his first tournament down under at the #AusPGA at RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast on 19-22 December.
The victory was Thomas’ 11th in this his sixth season on the PGA Tour. It also was his second win in his past four starts, his first coming in the BMW Championship in August.
Tony Finau’s third-round 62 put the big-hitting Utah native into contention at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. But even though he didn’t go on to win, Finau accomplished a PGA Tour first at TPC Summerlin that is worth acknowledging.
