Scottie Scheffler matches Tiger Woods with third straight PGA Tour Player of the Year award

Scheffler was a near-unanimous selection for Player of the Year among a tally of his peers, receiving 91 percent of the vote over two-time major winner Xander Schauffele and Rory McIlroy.

In capturing the award, Scheffler earned the distinction of being the only player to have been selected as the PGA Tour Player of the Year, PGA Tour Rookie of the Year (in 2020) and Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year (2019).
