DeChambeau, who does things a little differently to say the least, took his preparation to a different level on Tuesday at East Lake ahead of this week’s Tour Championship.
A lot of players would have been happy with the trophies, or the spoils that come with them. But what stood out to DeChambeau was executing the shots to earn the victories.
Bryson DeChambeau took the lead in the FedEx Cup Playoffs by winning The Northern Trust, and he did so using a complete game over four days at Ridgewood Country Club in New Jersey.
With the victory, DeChambeau also locks up his spot in the Tour Championship, where he’ll be making his first appearance after finishing 13 spots outside the top 30 in 2017.
