When the U.S. Ryder Cup team strolls to the first tee on Friday morning, the style story won’t just be about their apparel. The team’s boldest statement will be slung over the shoulders of their caddies in the form of limited-edition team bags designed and crafted by SWAG Golf.
Sure, the crowd noise will be deafening at Bethpage, but these bags will be even louder. Screaming with patriotism, this collaboration between SWAG, the PGA of America, and the U.S. team has resulted in a bag that feels less like a piece of equipment and more like a flex.
In designing the bag, SWAG Golf founder Nick Venson said the goal was simple—capture the tradition and camaraderie that define the Ryder Cup. To do it, they pulled inspiration from iconic American landmarks such as Mount Rushmore, the Liberty Bell, the White House, and the Capitol, layering in intricate embroidery and patent leather accents. Every panel and every stitch tells a story of American pride, history, and competitive spirit, and Captain Keegan Bradley provided input throughout the design process.

On one side of the bag, Mount Rushmore rises above the USA team logo, surrounded by subtle nods to team and national unity, including “E Pluribus Unum,” which is Latin for “Out of Many, One.” SWAG even wove in its own seal, styled like U.S. currency with a 2025 stamp, a tribute to the brand’s bold DNA. Not to be outdone, the opposite side of the bag features an eagle soaring high above the Capitol Building and clutching a banner in its talons that reads, “Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
For players, the third panel showcases their names centered in another currency-inspired motif, framed by “The 25th Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black.” A constellation of 12 stars, one for each player, further drives home an all-for-one mentality. For fans, the third panel of the retail version of the bag swaps this design for a reimagined Presidential Seal with an eagle gripping golf clubs and an ironic “Quiet” paddle. It is accompanied by the supportive rallying cry of “In Keegan, We Trust.”
Completing the patriotic design are red, white, and blue stars and stripes that serve as colorful accents. The bottom of the bag provides a salute to The Nassau Players Club, a group formed in 1993 consisting of amateur golfers who regularly traveled to Bethpage to play the public course.

Beyond the aesthetics are thoughtful functional details. Sixteen pockets are spread across the bag for everything from rain gear and rangefinders to golf balls and valuables. Each bag is cut from top-tier synthetic leather, reinforced with waterproof zippers, and finished with genuine leather pulls.
While players will be carrying the weight of their country on their shoulders at Bethpage, their caddies will be carrying their clubs and gear in style. At the same time, these bags are a not-so-subtle reminder that the Ryder Cup is all about pride, unity, and a little bit of swagger.
