Continuing its longstanding commitment to growing the women’s game, Ping has unveiled the new G Le4 family, a complete line of clubs engineered exclusively for women. Available for custom fitting and pre-order at authorised Ping golf shops worldwide, the G Le4 line aims to deliver distance, forgiveness and confidence to golfers of all skill levels.
“Ping’s dedication to women’s golf started in the 1970s with my grandparents, Karsten and Louise Solheim and continues today through initiatives like the Solheim Cup,” said Stacey Pauwels, Ping executive vice-president. “The G Le4 family gives women performance-engineered clubs that help lower scores and enhance enjoyment on the course.”
Smarter Fitting with WebFit Ladies App
To ensure every club works optimally, Ping introduced the WebFit Ladies app, a user-friendly tool that recommends club and set make-up based on swing and preferences. Pauwels notes, “The app is a great starting point before visiting a fitting specialist, helping golfers understand the benefits of custom-fit clubs.”
Optimised for Women’s Swing Speeds
The G Le4 driver, featuring a lightweight Carbonfly Wrap crown and a 460cc titanium head, is Ping’s longest and most forgiving women’s driver yet. With a fixed 22g back weight and a forged T9S+ face, it provides faster ball speeds, higher launch and tighter dispersion, ideal for swing speeds of 80mph or less.
Higher-lofted G Le4 fairway woods and hybrids, crafted with maraging steel faces and Carbonfly Wrap crowns, offer increased carry, consistent spin and improved gapping throughout the set. A new 8-hybrid expands options for versatile distance coverage.
Lightweight, Easy-to-Swing Irons
The stainless steel G Le4 irons focus on forgiveness and consistency. Tip and toe weighting lowers the centre of gravity while custom-engineered lofts and lighter shafts optimise swing speed and ball flight. The irons are available from 6-iron to SW, complemented by three wedge options for precision around the greens.
High-MOI Putters for Every Stroke
Ping offers three G Le4 putters: the Anser 2D (blade), Louise (mid mallet) and Oslo (mallet), featuring PEBAX elastomer inserts for responsive feel and distance control. Each putter matches different stroke types and comes with the Tour-proven PP58 Tour M Lilac grip for comfort and consistency.
Premium Shafts, Grips and Style
All G Le4 metal woods and irons use PING’s ALTA LE Lite and Ultra Lite graphite shafts, reducing overall weight and helping generate higher launch. Golf Pride Soft Tack Lilac grips provide a comfortable, premium feel. The Galactic Lilac and Milky Way Midnight colour scheme, accented with gold, gives the G Le4 line a distinctive, sophisticated look.
