English parody singer/songwriter Sam Harrop usually takes direct – and lighthearted – aim at tour players, however with his latest song adaptation he’s instead gone after the hottest topic in world golf: the rising emergence of a breakaway golf league in Saudi Arabia.
While there are gentle digs at Phil Mickelson, Charley Hoffman and Greg Norman within his rendition of America’s famous “A Horse With No Name”, it is the whole breakaway concept and the nauseating term “growing the game” where Harrop directs his talents:
