The aftermath of Phil Mickelson’s peculiar putt on Shinnecock’s 13th green during Saturday’s third round has seen plenty of fiery takes from media members and fans dumbfounded by what Lefty did. Some even called for him to withdraw since the USGA opted not to disqualify him.

Likened to John Daly hitting a moving ball at Pinehurst No.2 in the 1999 US Open, Mickelson’s childish performance was perhaps more reminiscent of “Happy Gilmore” and his rough introduction to the PGA Tour all those years ago. So much so, that some creative type has sliced together a parody video of the two golf legends – and it’s absolute gold:
