Nelly Korda is having a year that dreams are made of. The women’s World No. 1 recently tied the LPGA’s all-time consecutive win record at The Chevron Championship, capturing 2024’s first major in the process. This weekend, she will vie for six straight at the Cognizant Founders Cup, but win or lose, Korda’s week has already been unforgettable thanks to her appearance at the Met Gala on Monday.

While Korda said that her focus now lies squarely on setting LPGA history, on Wednesday reporters asked a string of questions about her glamorous appearance in New York City, including the one on everyone’s mind: Which celebrity was she most starstruck by?

Korda was diplomatic, saying that everyone was “amazing” and that she couldn’t “just point out one person,” but she did drop one name that wowed her more than most.

Korda also mentioned Will Smith’s middle child Jaden Smith as one of the nicest celebrities, saying they were one of the first A-listers to come up and introduce themselves.

“The whole evening was a dream come true,” Korda said, but that dream could get even better come Sunday.
