Given there are six Australians in the field at the 2024 Masters tournament, they are the six things you should know ahead of the April major. Let’s look at each player, ranked in order of their form 1-6.

1. Jason Day: The world No.22 has had three top-10s this year, all at elevated events on the PGA Tour. Has a second at the Masters (2011).

2. Min Woo Lee: Has the best finish of any Australian on the PGA Tour this year with a tie for second at the PGA Tour event at Palm Beach Gardens in Florida. Shot 30 on the front nine at the 2022 Masters. Has the ball speed to have mid and short irons into every par 5 at Augusta bar the lengthened second hole.

3. Cam Smith: The 2022 Open champion has enjoyed decent form this year without beating the world like he was two years ago. Tie for a second at LIV Golf Hong Kong on a tough golf course is his best result in 2024. Best Augusta finish is a tie for a second at the Masters in 2020 while he was also tied for third at the 2022 Masters when he played in the final group.

4. Adam Scott: The 2013 Masters champion boasts a top 10 on both the European and PGA tours this year, bit has struggled for consistency. Hasn’t had a top 10 at the Masters since 2017.

5. Cam Davis: Has the length and accuracy to contend at Augusta but hasn’t showed anywhere near his best form this year.

6. Jasper Stubbs: Made two absolutely clutch birdie putts to win the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship at Royal Melbourne, where the greens are similar to Augusta, but an amateur on his Masters debut will no doubt be nervous.
