The most-anticipated food menu in golf has arrived, and it looks spectacular. We’d expect nothing less from reigning Masters champion Hideki Matusyama, who can chow down with the best of ’em.

No, there will be no pigs in a blanket like 2020 winner Dustin Johnson served last year, but there will be plenty of sushi, Matsuyama’s favourite food. There will also be sashimi, which is sliced raw fish, and nigiri, which is the oval-shaped rice with sliced raw fish on top of it (the GOAT of sushi). Yakitori chicken skewers will also be served during the appetizer course.

After that, steak or fish, but not just any steak. Matsuyama will serve Miyazaki Wagyu, the top brand of Japanese Wagyu steak. Mouth-watering stuff:

Simply put, this is one of the better Champions Dinner menus in recent memory. No offence to DJ or Tiger Woods or Patrick Reed, but serving A5 Wagyu Beef Ribeye puts you in a different class in Champions Dinner history.

Oh, and you can’t go wrong with the strawberry shortcake. Safe to say there is going to be some happy diners on Tuesday evening Augusta time, and we can confirm Matsuyama’s menu won’t make the list of “curious” Champions Dinner choices.
