If we’ve learned anything about Golf Twitter through the years, it’s that you don’t want to get on Golf Twitter’s bad side. From TV networks showing too many commercials to Patrick Reed to, more recently, Phil Mickelson’s interesting hairdo, many have experienced the wrath of this online community.
But now there’s a new target. And he’s quickly reached James Bond villain status.
Good Bull Guided Tours shared a video on Instagram of a man apparently taking aim at some elk that wandered onto a driving range. “This guy was intentionally hitting golf balls at this elk – this was not the first. What would you do?” the Colorado-based tour company stated on Monday via Instagram.
The video went viral and made its way to Golf Twitter. Have a look for yourself as the guy hits a shot directly over an elk then appears upset that he didn’t connect. “If you want to keep hitting at the elk, I’ll happily send the video into the cops,” a man recording the video says. It’s unclear what happened next. Anyway, here’s the video:
🫎🏌🏻♂️What should the punishment be for this?

And here are some reactions:
Probably misdemeanor animal cruelty, but yeah send the video to the cops, the douche deserves to pay the fine.

I want to see one of those elk charge him. That would be appropriate.

I mean if the man in the black shirt gets to throw shots unprovoked the Elk should get the same opportunity. 🤷🏻♂️

Not everyone turned on the guy in the comments, but we won’t share any of those tweets, because, c’mon, you’re going to defend this guy? You can’t purposely hit golf balls at wild animals! We don’t care how big they are. And you shouldn’t need Golf Twitter – or anyone else – to teach you that.
