Phil Mickelson has had a number of different looks over the years. From visor to paper-clip hat to that leather jacket on “Feherty” to the mock turtleneck to the pinstripe pants and beyond. He’s pulled most of it off admirably, and the key to many of his look was that patented flow:
Some healthy lettuce. That was one thing the guy beside him had to be a little jealous of throughout their rivalry.
Unfortunately for Phil, Father Time has come. You can beat him on the golf course, but you can’t beat him on the hair front:

Rough. So rough that we can’t tell if it’s a haircut gone awry or if it’s thinning so much that this is how it looks now. Honestly, it looks like a combination of the two.
Golf Twitter, naturally, did its thing:

The good news is Phil’s job basically requires him to wear a hat at all times. The bad news is no more visors, it would appear.
As for Phil’s play, that’s been rough, too. His HiFlyers lost in the semi-finals of the LIV Golf Team Championship in Dallas and then he finished with a four-over 76 in Tier 2 of the finals, the highest score on the team by four shots.
