It was a brutal start for Perrine Delacour at the Amundi Evian Championship on Thursday as the Frenchwoman playing in her native country began the tournament seven over thru eight holes. But on her ninth hole, she finally had something good happen. And it led to one of the best on-course celebrations of the year.

Delacour rolled in a birdie—and then danced like an actual birdie. Have a look:

It might not be the best, but it’s pretty darn good. Well done, Perrine. It’s good to keep a good sense of humour during tough times. And sometimes, well, you’ve just got to dance.

In any event, that opening 42 likely means Perrine won’t be around on the weekend. But a tip of the cap to her for providing inspiration for how weekend golfers everywhere can celebrate their own (rare) birdies.
