Brooks Koepka turned 33 on Wednesday, but he has far more to celebrate about than another year around the sun. He and his wife, Jena Sims, announced that they are expecting their first child on their respective Instagram pages.

“Happiest birthday,” wrote Sims, adding “the best is yet to come”.

The news comes nearly a year after the two tied the knot last June in Turks and Caicos. The pair first met at the 2015 Masters, though they didn’t reveal they were dating until 2017.

The couple did not reveal the gender yet, though knowing them, a reveal of some sort is soon to come and it will be documented on social media. If it’s a boy, may we suggest “Bryson” as the name. There, got the easy one in.

Despite what the Brooks Koepka-focused episode of Netflix’s “Full Swing” would lead you to believe, things are going extremely well for the four-time Major champion right now. He’s a two-time winner on the LIV tour, he nearly won the Masters and now he’ll gain all sorts of perspective with a child on the way. Something tells us there will be more Major victories in this man’s future.
