Cleveland

Frontline Elite

Why we like it

Like Tom Hanks in “Big” questioning what was fun about a toy building turning into a robot, these putters question conventional wisdom. Cleveland believes moving weight away from the face for a higher moment of inertia leads to mis-directed putts. Instead, the weighting in the Frontline Elite line is more forward with heel and toe weights placed up the front. That combination yields less face rotation on mis-hits for plenty of stability with even better directional control. What’s not fun about that?

  • Counterbalanced grip weights create a balanced feel.
  • Three models (Cero, Elevado, Rho) with two hosel options each (single bend, slant neck); head weights: 360-370 grams; lengths: 32-35 inches; loft: 3 degrees

Reviewer profile

“It’s very soft-feeling at impact. One of the more comfortable putters I’ve tried.”
