With the Players Championship this week, the Masters will be here before you know it. So, why not watch the 89th edition of the Augusta National major from Bobby Jones’ former mansion, complete with a miniature replica of the No. 12 hole on Amen Corner? That’s how you impress your friends and family!

Once given to the 13-time major champ and co-founder of the Masters for his domination on the course, this 1930s residence in the Tuxedo Park neighborhood of Buckhead in Atlanta is as beautiful as it is historic. It’s going for a hair under $10 million and was even renovated at the end of last year for Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles magazine’s Homes for the Holidays Showhouse. You may even run into Tuxedo Park mainstays like Matt Ryan, Vince Vaughn, Robert Downey, Jr., Kenny Rogers and former president of The Coca-Cola Company, Robert Woodruff. That’s quite the summer barbeque and pool party. You’re going to need to make a hell of a grocery store run and stockpile on Pimento cheese.

If you’re reading this, you’re probably wondering about any golf accoutrements, and, buddy, do we have some add-ons for you. Unless you’re Stephen Hennessey and Christopher Powers, you probably won’t play Augusta National … but for a measly $9.8 million, you can play a mini practice green designed to look like Augusta National’s No. 12 on Amen Corner. Jones may not have a Masters to his name, and yet, that’s a pretty solid runner-up prize. This house is also where Jones started thinking about the Masters and planning the vaunted tournament, so it’s fair to say that it’s the birthplace of the illustrious event. They also threw in a golf simulator for good measure.

The list of amenities goes on and on: A gym, a wine cellar, a billiards room, “a sundeck-encased pool and spa flanked by an open-air cabana” and a teal speakeasy to call your very own. In case you want numbers, it has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and three half-baths all within 7,500 square feet. Let’s see some photos, please.

“The new owners of 3488 Tuxedo are going to have an incredibly stylish, meticulously expanded and modernized home, and a legendary story to tell,” says listing agent Bonneau Ansley of Ansley Real Estate at Christie’s International Real Estate. “Imagine having cocktails in your speakeasy and study, where the legendary Bobby Jones dreamed up Augusta National and the Masters Tournament. An extraordinary piece of Atlanta history.”

The house was last sold in 2024 for $2.6 million to Brown Trout Development LLC, according to Atlanta Business Chronicle, so it’s a pricey mark-up; however, if you’ve got millions to spare, you can do a lot worse than this mansion. This is the closest most of us will ever get to becoming an Augusta National member. That’s worth every penny.
