When Harry Higgs (and Joel Dahmen) went tarps off for the boys at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, the crowd went bonkers. It was and will remain one of the most fun moments of the 2022 golf season. But, as Higgs found out at the Honda Classic, it may have had some unintended consequences.

Earlier in the week, during a practice round, Higgs was walking from one tee to the next when a fan awaiting his arrival went… well, full Harry Higgs, lifting his shirt up and flashing the amiable tour pro hoping for a reaction. The exchange was, of course, filmed and posted on social media, and Higgs can be heard responding in hilarious fashion.

“See? That’s why I didn’t want to do it,” Higgs jokes, pointing at the fan. “That’s why I didn’t want to do it. Right there.”

That’s the sound of a man who knows he is going to get flashed by his fellow dad-bod men for at least the rest of this season and possibly beyond. Unfortunately for Higgs, actions have consequences.

“I’m never going to do it ever again,” Higgs said at the Genesis Invitational last week. “I regretted it almost immediately.”

Welp, too late now, Harry.
