WE’VE all got varying opinions on when the ‘Tiger Era’ finished and the ‘Rory McIlroy/Jordan Spieth/Jason Day’ era started – but now we have tangible proof.

The younger generation no longer cares about Tiger Woods. It’s all about Jordan, Rory, Rickie and Jason.

Example A – a man recently texted his daughter (@maddietod) saying, “Just played golf with Notah and Tiger  for my birthday”.

They’re standing in front of the clubhouse at the Atunyote Golf Club at the Turning Stone Resort in Verona, New York, site of the Notah Begay III Invitational that concluded on Wednesday. Woods was there in support of his college teammate and friend.

But the daughter was so unimpressed she replied, “Bye dad, text me when it’s Jordan Spieth”.

There you go.

And now @maddietod seems to be enjoying her “15 minutes of Twitter fame”.
