Just a few hours after Callaway decided to discontinue its relationship with Good Good the YouTube influencers announced they would “step away” from sponsoring its PGA Tour event this November in Texas.

Good Good released a video promoting a new Callaway driver that showed a man shoving a woman to the ground. It attempted to mock the movie “Obsession” but was immediately hit with criticism and scrubbed from social media by both companies. Both Good Good and Callaway released two different rounds of apologies but ultimately Callaway announced the partnership that started in 2023 was done.
Now Good Good is said to have told the PGA Tour that it wishes to stop its sponsorship of the November 12-15 event at Omni Barton Creek in Austin, Texas. It is listed on the PGA Tour’s website only as the Austin Championship.
“We recognise that we have work to do as an organisation, and our focus right now is on our team, our culture and ensuring we learn from this situation,” Good Good said.
The PGA Tour responded by saying, “we agree with their decision to use this time to focus on their organisation and the work ahead.”
The tour’s release ended by saying, “we will provide an update on sponsorship plans at a later date.”
