There’s nothing better than a bit of bonding during a father-son golf outing. Some good ol’-fashioned sledging, perhaps an ice-cold beer at the end of a long day. You know, things like that.
Well, 45-year-old Noah White and his son, 20-year-old Lucas White, took a different route… and now face felony charges after a destructive round at Red Hook Golf Club in New York.

After a two-week investigation by the Red Hook Police Department, it’s been determined that the twosome intentionally caused damage at the course in the Hudson Valley. There was allegedly harm done to both the carts and the course itself, and both men were charged with the felony of second-degree criminal mischief.
The family hails from Clinton, New York, and the two men will have to appear in Red Hook Town Court at a later date. The estimated repair bill will cost more than $US7,000 ($A10,018), according to the department.
The course seems to have thankfully pulled through, as they’re set to host Tee Time After Hours next week, featuring food, raffle prizes and golf games. The club’s social media reads, “Grab a friend or co-worker and join us,” but we can guess at least two people who won’t be invited.
