In the US, there’s clearly a market of people who want a luxury vehicle that comes with two custom sets of Titleist golf clubs and a professional club-fitting experience at one of Titleist’s Performance Institutes.
In a collaboration that includes TaylorMade, FedEx, the PGA Tour and Ceeze Creative Studios, Morikawa’s clubs for the three events will be housed in a bag that was created utilising soon-to-be-recycled FedEx package and upcycled material.
The TaylorMade Hi-Toe 4 wedge continues the company’s larger-faced, high centre-of-gravity design with the same original mission: pushing mass higher helps to produce a lower-flighted, higher-spinning design.
The three new Titleist GT drivers (GT2, GT3, GT4) fill similar slots to the three TSR models they replace with the forgiving GT2, the shot-shaping GT3 and the ultra low-spin GT4. But they do so in a dramatically new way for the traditional Titleist metalwood philosophy.
TaylorMade launches two new irons directed at better players, the fresh single-piece forged cavity back P·7CB and a sleek aesthetic upgrade to the fast-faced P·770. But with better players’ demands in mind, both still offer distinct commitments to ball speed and forgiveness.
